Uptempo swing, gypsy bossa, jazz ballads with a manouche twist
Now here is a group to get your toes tapping! The Gypsy Cats deliver exciting and energetic music that really lifts the pulse. They have built an eclectic repertoire of originals and standards with their own distinctive take on the Manouche or French Gypsy Jazz genre. From fast moving swing to gypsy bossas, traditional jazz ballads and French waltzes.
Their live shows have grown increasingly popular having played countless live music venues and festivals around the state. Highlights include Woodford Folk Festival, Brisbane Festival and OzManouche at the Brisbane Jazz Club. Their monthly residency at The Bearded Lady in West End consistently packs the venue with punters of all ages, backgrounds, and music tastes.

When we’re not slinging pizzas or pouring cocktails, we’re turning up the rhythm — and this time, we're handing the floor over to our friends at Fiebre de Salsa.
Led by Fallon & Jose — two passionate dancers born in Cali, Colombia (aka the salsa capital of the world) — these Monday night sessions are all about fun, connection, and getting your body moving. They've been dancing for over a decade, and now they're bringing their signature style and infectious energy to our main room.

After a year of unforgettable Bottomless Lunches, we’re evolving the concept into something that’s even more meaningful and delicious. Introducing Farm to Table - Winter Series, an event celebrating the best local and seasonal produce, with a strong spotlight on Queensland-grown ingredients.

Touring New Zealand folk & Americana act
Albi & The Wolves’ music is soul-filled, energetic, electric, and beautiful. The trio creates a huge sound using only acoustic guitar, electric violin, double bass, rich three-part vocal harmonies, and stomp.
Together they create a massive sound to play everything from your soul-stirring ballads to ear worming, foot stomping hoe downs.
The band is known for its dynamic stage presence – so whether it’s Woodford Folk Festival, or a humble homestead in rural New Zealand, wherever you get the chance to see Albi & the Wolves, don’t miss this act!

Flamenco Trio @ Village Pizza
For the first time in Samford, experience the soul of flamenco with mesmerising sounds of Camaron de la Vega and his Flamenco Trio.
A virtuoso guitarist, Camaron de la Vega sets the scene with captivating music he has performed all over the world.
He is joined by professional dancer Diego Perez who has showcased his extraordinary talent across more than 30 cities globally. In Brisbane he runs Flamenco House studio, dedicated to the artform.
Together with the vocal power and beauty of Cristina Gonzales Vega, this trio deliver shows as vibrant and passionate as you will experience! Travel to the most beautiful regions of Spain to feel all the strength and magic of this beautiful art.

The Barleyshakes @ Village Pizza
Founding members Alan & Kristin Kelly are bringing the upbeat sounds of Ireland to our garden, blending sweet, sensuous fiddle with spirited guitar for a night of incredible live music.
Having performed at concert halls, clubs, and festivals in over 20 countries, the Shakes take you on a journey through Irish history with songs of emigration, resilience, hope, struggle and joy. Their live repertoire also featuring todays dance grooves while honouring the traditions of Irish music. A fine way to celebrate the week of St Patrick’s Day.
The Barleyshakes, through their lifelong passion and skill, will make you laugh, cry, sing and dance.
Pair that with a wood-fired pizza, share plates from The Bistro Kitchen, and a well-stocked bar, and you’ve got the perfect Thursday night.
